About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am a teacher and student in Milano, who is looking to explore Europe and to travel as much as I can on the weekends during my year here in Italy!

ABOUT ME

I consider Chicago my home. I am a born traveler. I LOVE airports and train stations, passports, and languages.

PHILOSOPHY

You can either submit to course of your life, or decide to forge one for yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to attempt new languages, try new foods, explore new roads and waters.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have heard lots of good stories about people couch surfing, and have met some cool people while staying with friends who are hosting couch surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Fight Club, Keeping the Faith, Goodfellas, High Fidelity

Music: The Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Robyn, Adele, Das Racist

Books: I love David Sedaris, I devoured "Shantaram", and I especially like the work of Malcolm Gladwell ("What the Dog Saw", The New Yorker)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I have witnessed was the top of the jungle from a Mayan temple in a Belizean rainforest. It was breathtaking.

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I have learned very recently is to always leave open the possibility of change. In this life especially now, it is important to be versatile. Always have not only a Plan B, but a Plan C, D, and E. The more open you are to multiple possibilites, the less disappointment you will suffer. It's not being pessimistic, nor even realisitc, but prepared.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Canada, France, India, Italy, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

India, Italy, United Kingdom, United States
