Hello! I'm relatively new to the triangle area and looking to meet new friends. I'm a graduate student looking to keep learning and exploring however I can. As a full-blooded extrovert, I surround myself with people as much as possible. In my free time I hike, cook, and seek out good coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore and meet new people! I'm in a constant state of planning trips, and when they become reality I'm ready to Couchsurf! I'd much rather explore a city with people who live there rather than hop from line to line in tourist attractions. Meeting with Couchsurfers allows me to meet interesting people and discover a new place.

I truly believe there is a time and place for any music, but you can generally find me listening to bands like Andrew Bird, the National, the Avett Brothers, Angus and Julia Stone, Bon Iver, Big Red Machine, Sufjan Stevens, Shakey Graves, Beirut, the Mountain Goats, or a million others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I moved to Colorado I began climbing 14ers (14,000 ft/4,267 m mountains) and so far have 16 climbs under my belt. I also slept with a hippo outside of my door in central Uganda!
