Overview
About Me
I always have a book I'm reading. Fiction, non-fiction, fantasy, sci-fi... I like to cook. I like to bike up hills to roll down them. I like to run. And sew. And walk. And sit in the sun. I like to grow food when the season comes around. I work at a bakery with friends called "Positively 3rd Street Bakery". It's a sweet little worker's co-op. Been around since 83'. Also, I work year-round at a farm south of Duluth in Wrenshall, Minnesota. Ta daa!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, I have a tiny little efficiency in Duluth, MN but there's room on my floor for one or two : ) This is a nice way to meet folk from all over the world. It also opens a window making travel more economical for people from all classes. It's brilliant. I'm happy to finally be a part of it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Bjork. I like Black Sabbath. I like Lil' Wayne. I like Sia. Modest Mouse. Timber Timbre. I like Beyonce. Joanna Newsom. Sylvan Esso. And on, and on.
Philip Pullman. Anything Steinbeck, Hesse. Atwood. Kingsolver. Rowling. Le Guin. Twain and Vonnegut. Krakauer. And on.
What About Bob made me laugh. Dancer in the Dark made me weep. Without having seen it, my mom put on Pretty Woman for my 9th birthday party, Oops! Little Women was the first movie I saw a real kiss in. Silence of the Lambs was really good but that's about as scared as I'd like to get whilst seeing a film. Oooo, Amelie! That's a good one.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could teach you how to spit a little Chinese. How to make skillet food. I could darn a sock. I could probably make you laugh. Everything I do, is an adventure.
