About Me

Discovered couch surfing while being an au pair in Switzerland. I'm now back home in Australia studying but look forward to hopefully meeting some friendly faces :)

For some reason. the messages never notify me so I barely see them so if I don't reply I'm not being rude, I just probably haven't seen it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At this stage, the easiest thing for me is to meet up with you and show you around or chill and grab a coffee. Hosting is a bit hard at this stage with living arrangements but I'd be more than happy to spare at least a few hours, depending on when you come :)

Interests

I love to travel, read, swim, play tennis, badminton, talk...I talk A LOT (and listen of course). I love hearing people's life stories and adventures...I like to find inspiration, hope and happiness from them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think travelling overseas when I was 15 and living with a host family in France was a major experience and learning curve. That's where I learnt French and came back to Australia fluent. It's been 3 years now so my French has gotten a little bit rusty but I still understand everything and can speak it well. Give me a couple of days and I'll be back to being super fluent again.

- Then when I was 18, just out of school, I decided to again travel across the world from Australia to Switzerland to be an Au Pair. I left my beautiful family behind which was hard but because I live for each day, try to travel as much as possible and always think positively, the Au Pair experience has been wonderful and life changing...something I'll never forget. It's also allowed me to travel a lot...and I've travelled solo a lot which is very different to travelling with a friend. However, it's been a lot of fun and you make friends just as easily because it's just you :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe you can learn something from anyone thus, I'm willing to meet with all types of people :D But I personally like people who can teach and listen, who are friendly, open-minded and so on. Just enjoy life :)
