My name is Madelon, I am 25 years old and live in the Netherlands where I grew up at the countryside. Seven years ago I moved to Leiden, a city with typical Dutch canals, and started a bachelor in Child Studies in combination with a bachelor for being a teacher at primary school. After I graduated, worked as a teacher and traveled, I started a master in Psychology. Mid-September 2017 I graduated and decided to go travelling for at least 6 months. Besides travelling I decided to work as an English teacher in Indonesia and Nepal via workaway.info.

I am an honest, friendly, talkative, spontaneous, caring and enthusiastic person who likes new adventures and opportunities. I want to know more about new places, new cultures and its nature. Also, I am very interested in the people who live at the places I visit: their way of living and their local food and drinks.

I have different fields of interest like yoga, reading and creative arts like singing, music, sewing and photography. But, besides that I am always in for new things.

After travelling in Europe and exploring parts of South-East Asia, I am curious what Indonesia and Nepal will offer me.
