Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To take a bite out of life.
ABOUT ME
I like sandwiches. A good day starts with a hot cup of coffee and a good breakfast. I have been known to walk instead of wait for the bus, I tend to sing loudly when wearing headphones and I still have yet to settle on a favorite color. My hands are only clean when they need to be.
PHILOSOPHY
"One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well."
~Virginia Woolf
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am actively seeking couches and travelers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I signed up because I wanted to travel cheap on my upcoming adventure through Europe. I surfed in almost every city I stayed, and YES, it did make my travels less expencive. In the three months I spent on peoples couches I received more kindness and gunuine willingness to be your best friend, if only for that week. I am so very thankful for the community that is built by couchsurfing and the people of the world.
Interests
I love the smell of soil in the morning. I enjoy boardgames, miss matched dishes, friendships, entire days spent in the kitchen, the colors of spring, public radio, hoe leaning and morning garden walks. I take the stairs. I love children and chickens and most animals in between. I want to taste culture, for me there is no better way to get to know people than sitting around the dinner table.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have watched a spider build a web in its entirety.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope to absorb whatever people have to offer. I am always growing and in-taking new information (what sticks is still to be determined). In my travels I hope to learn new cooking and gardening techniques. And as always, new way to learn and accept everything.
I am able to teach you how to slow cook a pork shoulder, roast a chicken, glaze a vegetable or fry a plantain. I can give advice on how to keep aphids off your kale, prune a fruit tree or keep a chicken happy. These are things I am accustom to doing but not limited to.
Hopefully I will learn from you what I can teach someone else.
