I basically grew up around the same area of Kansas and Missouri but I've also lived in Iowa. I move A LOT. So much so that I've accepted the fact that the whole world will be my home. I'm not from anywhere but here and now. I find it hard describing my life because I prefer to try not looking back at what was. My favorite colors are Tiffany Blue, Seafoam and Purple. My happy place is on a mountain, meditating or photographing the scenic views. I am studying psychology, philosophy and mathematics currently. I want to learn physics, all about health, mechanics/ cars, construction, and agriculture/ hydroponics. I want to be a multifunctional human! I have a lot of motivation for learning and becoming who I want to be. I also have a huge interest in art!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to find new perspectives on empathy and compassion and how to apply them in any given circumstances. I want to explore and expand my horizons to what this world has to offer and learn how I can grow and use my brain to the fullest with real world issues, not just those made up in my head. I also think traveling can provide life skills that I can teach to my children and they can teach to their and so on. With the cards I've been dealt, I never learned a lot of necessary life skills growing up and I'm ready to take on new experiences and learn what I can from them.

Interests

I love the outdoors. I love hiking, bike riding, exploring, swimming, camping, and star gazing. I love finding new music to listen to. I recently discovered a personal interest in philosophy. I like to visit libraries and explore all different types of nonfiction books. I love repurposing things in an artistic way. And I like to learn!

Music, Movies, and Books

As for music, I listen to Sublime, Mischief Brew, Days n' Daze, The Stupid Stupid Henchmen and the Gorillaz the most. But I enjoy most music from Immortal Technique and Knowmads to The Beatles and Love.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very interested in learning realistic pencil and charcoal drawing. As well as painting! I have an itch to create. I also want to learn how to play percussion drums and ukelele. I also would like to learn any skills that can provide for me a life of getting things done myself. Like working on cars, growing food, health knowledge, etc.

It's hard to say what I can teach. I still have a lot to learn! I am very good with organization, and I am a decent cook. I can teach how to make essential oils at home. I am traveling to discover what I have to offer the world.
