Hola!

I'm Madi and I am an Australian currently travelling around Europe for six months! I would love the opportunity to be able to say hello, get to know, and have a fun time with the locals of the area -- YOU!

A little bit about myself:

I love travelling, dancing, eating & drinking, having a good laugh with new friends, and getting to explore new and beautiful places everyday. I am part of a close family of four, who often travel together, and I love getting to make a new family on the road!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing to not only have the fabulous insight and insider view to places that you can't experience anywhere else, but also to get to meet, befriend, and stay with lovely, like-minded individuals who love to travel and laugh as much as we do!

Interests

I love acting, and often take part in theatre/dancing classes at home. I love to go out dancing, meeting new people, and love to explore new places. I love history, beauty, and nature. I love hiking, swimming, and relaxing by the beach. I love to go on adventures and try new things!

Movies: any type of good comedy, Lord of the Rings/Harry Potter (I'm the biggest theatre and acting nut so I pretty much love anything!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked around India for a month with my parents, and that was perhaps one of the most life changing and eye opening experiences I've ever had. I was able to experience the religious festival Holi, ride camels in the desert, and meet so many phenomenal men and women. Not only was I constantly overwhelmed with the noise and the smell and all the beautiful sights, but I also had never had the privilege to experience such awe inspiring beauty.

Another amazing thing I've done was helicoptering over the mountain range of Kawaii (an Island off Hawaii). It was still one of those places that sticks to my mind because of how deeply beautiful it was.
That was pretty amazing.
