About Me

I'm a studied biologist and teacher. I'm now looking what to do with all of this...
I come from France but since the first time I visited Germany, I wanted to live there. That's what I do since about 12 years. I lived in Münster, a little bit in Bremen, and in Rostock until I moved to Baden-Württemberg in a small city next to Ravensburg, where the games come from, you know!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and my family use to travel to see other family members. But sometimes, I may travel alone and would like to see some people living in the country, in the region I'm visiting, instead of an impersonal hotel. Couchsurfing is for me a possiblity to meet other people, cook together, exchange with others.

Interests

I like handcrafting in many forms, like sewing, knitting, working with paper etc.
I also like to discuss with people about nearly any subject and discover like this how my counterpart thinks. This is kind of fascinating.
I also really like to cook, mostly some kind of french things, but also discover some new dishes, eating is an important part of french culture and for that matter I'm quite french :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I can ear nearly everything.
Film: I don't know, which one I really prefer. Maybe The green line and Forrest Gump. I also watch series, my favourite right now is still The big bang theory.

Books: I read mostly fiction, also some fantasy (mostly from Terry Pratchett). My favourite book is Ensemble c'est tout from Anna Gavalda (whereas the film was a very bad adaption).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Concerning travelling, my most beautiful and most awesome experience was to spend two weeks in Egypt, next to El Qseir with a group of biology students. There we spent the day diving, snorkling, learn fish names and do some biology in minimal conditions !

Teach, Learn, Share

I prefer to speak about exchange. A receipe, something from our languages, about our cultures, difference or similarity.

What I Can Share with Hosts

some crêpes or mousse au chocolat... :-P
