About Me
Canadian. Born and raised in beautiful British Columbia. Couchsurfed around Europe a little while I studied abroad in France (2014-2015) and again while back in Europe traveling with one of my best friends (2018). Now I’ve landed back in Canada in Montreal, Quebec pursuing an MSc in Polar Microbiology. I’m hoping to explore some places around the East while I’m out here and can maybe provide a couch for someone in Montreal too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Big fan of meeting new people and saving some $ to spend doing more fun things 🌮🍻🍷🏄♀️🏰🏟✈️
In all seriousness, I love seeing places from the perspectives of those who live there. I live for local tips, hole-in-the-wall places and authentic experiences. And my couchsurfing experiences have always provided me with that.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of music, movies & books.
To name a few faves:
Generally films directed by Christopher Nolan and Tarantino. Documentaries. Classic British crime films. Comedies in general. The occasional sappy romance. The occasional cheesy rom com.
Generally older music. Stones, Zeppelin, Tom Petty, Beatles, Tragically Hip, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan, Van Morisson, Neil Young, Nirvana, The Smiths etc.
Generally less old stuff too. Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, Frank Ocean, Ben Howard, Lord Huron, Bon Iver, Jack Johnson, so on & so on.
Books- I usually go from recommendations. So if there is a life changing book I need to read, please let me know. In general I like historical fiction, fiction, natural history, nature; place related non-fiction and poetry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I find this question very difficult to answer. I'm sort of an it's-all-about-the-little-things kind of person.
