Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think you see the best in humanity (not to mention the best in the city) when people open their homes to let travelers stay with them. As a surfer, I'm honestly still surprised that people will let you stay with them no strings attached. And as a host, travelling is much more convenient when you bring the world to your doorstep. Win-win!

I'd like to learn an instrument - I can play a bit of guitar and I used to play the flute, but I'd love to know enough (guitar or drums) to be in a band. I also love singing but am pretty bad. I have a dream of forming an all-female Pink Floyd cover band.
