Overview
About Me
My name is Madison and I moved from my hometown in Phoenix, AZ from the USA in my early 20's to Sydney, Australia. I hope to always keep moving so that I learn all that I possibly can in my time.
I am privileged to love my work as a coordinator of an arts centre for adults living with disabilities. While this is my primary position, I also work at a different organization that supports children and young people with significant trauma histories. In my spare time, I fluctuate between outings with friends and solo adventures, time at the gym and lazing at home, and reading a good book and zoning out to a video game.
I'm a non-smoker and prefer a sober state of mind. I am comfortable around kids and animals of all shapes and sizes!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a couch surfer, my best experiences will be when I have the chance to spend time outside of my life and in someone else's.
I want to meet kind people who are interested in showing me their favorite pieces of their local area. When I travel, I find value in connecting to others during my stay rather than a "quick trip" sort of vibe. I think couchsurfing provides hosts and guests opportunities to learn something new and meet another friendly face! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts
If you're interested in showing around an excitable and easily impressed visitor, I'm your lady! There is no adventure too small for me to say yes to whether it's your local fresh food market or your favorite park in the neighborhood.
I'm also someone that can happily share a quiet space with people. I don't need my days to be adventure packed and can be quiet as a mouse for those that prefer this in their space.
Also, I love to cook! I think that conversation is best fueled by food. Full disclosure, I'm one of those plant-based millennials but I'm up to the challenge of impressing you with my recipes! :)
