I recently graduated from nursing school and will be traveling throughout South America with my best friend. When I return to the United States I will work as a nurse. I lived in Costa Rica from January 2018-June 2018. I speak a decent amount of Spanish and want to learn/practice more!
I am an adventurer and love to be outdoors. I am learning to play the ukulele. I dance with a hulahoop and sometimes with fire!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me one of the most important aspects of traveling is being able to get to know the local people and culture of a place I am visiting. When I was in Costa Rica I was spending time in one area, and so I lived with a host family; but this trip we will be traveling more often to various locations. Couchsurfing seems like a way to still meet and make genuine connections with local people, which is really important to me!

Para mi, una de las cosas mas importante de viajando es conocer las personas localas y cultura de un lugar que estoy visitando. Cuando estaba en Costa Rica, estaba en una area, entonces yo vivia con una familia tica; pero este viaje vamos a viajar mas frecuentemente a varios lugares. Couchsurfing parece como una manera todavia conocer y hacer relaciones genuino con las personas localas, el cual es uy importante para mi!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to a country where I didn't know anyone and could barely speak a few sentences... but ended up making lots of great relationships, studying a lot, and learned a good amount of Spanish!

Me mude a un pais donde yo no sabia nadie y apenas hablaba algunas oraciones... pero al final yo hice muchas relaciones bonitas, estudie mucho, y aprendi mucho espanol!

I can teach English and would love to practice and learn more Spanish :) I can also help around the house or the garden and am good with kids. I can teach basic yoga/meditation and breathing exercises.
I love to talk, share experiences, and listen.

Podria ensenar ingles y me gustaria practicar y aprender mas espanol :) tambien puedo ayudar en la casa o el jardin y soy buena con los ninos. Puedo ensenar yoga/meditacion basico y los ejercicios de la respiracion.
