I'm currently on a gap year as I've just finished my studies in the UK. The plan is to find work in Berlin and to learn to speak German fluently; in the meantime - I'm enjoying traveling the world a little more!

I play the piano, have a love for Klimt, enjoy sailing, windsurfing and skiing, will happily partake in philosophical musings and in sharing music, and am down for a boogie 99% of the time. Fun fact: I have three passports yet I always travel with the same one - take a guess?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm spending the month of September traveling with my best friend of over ten years. She's great fun and is usually the one to come up with spontaneous ideas of things to do. She's similar to me in that she is also an aspiring vegetarian, French/British nationality-wise, enjoys spontaneous adventures - we have a knack of making and sustaining friendships with individuals we cross paths with in the most random places. If you're curious, she's the blonde girl in my photos.

Essentially, I think meeting individuals, whether locals or other tourists is what makes an experience abroad authentic and I love getting to hear, share and ponder over life experiences and stories relating to our different backgrounds. Coming from a fairly international background, I have always enjoyed having and expanding a network of friendships across various countries. I'm keen to hear about the experiences which have shaped and left a mark on individuals. From this, I can myself learn a bit more about others and about myself too - I think this website is a great and easy way to further all of these interests!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to music most of the time and enjoy a mix of new and old - funk, soul, jazz, classical and indie music most of all. Some of my favourite artists at the moment include Crumb, Kaytranada, Aretha Franklin, Cocteau Twins, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if I'd call this "amazing" but it's certainly a noteworthy experience in my life - I volunteered in a South African township two years ago. A memorable and interesting experience which gave me a lot to think about.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will happily help you improve your French and English language skills. I am also keen to learn some new guitar stuff and teach you a bit of piano or generally just jam.
