My name is Madison. I am a graduate from the University of Wyoming and have been traveling around working on different farms for about a year now. I am 25 years old just left Alaska and am now traveling cross country with my best friend Christian. I love doing as many outdoor activities as possible. I am a very outgoing person and love meeting new people from around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

About a week ago I arrived in Virginia to visit a friend for her wedding. I am now starting a cross country trip with one of my best friends and am looking for cozy homes to stay in along the way. In places we are unable to camp.

Interests

I am a really outdoors orientated person. I love to hike camp climb and snowboard. On my free time (that is if I have some) I would love to explore the mountains in Utah.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kind of music. Right now my favorite band is Elephent Revival. I dont watch much TV and at the moment most of the books I read are school related. My favorite so far has been Original Instructions: Indigenous Teachings for a Sustainable Future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say the most amazing thing that I have done is gone and volunteered in Muizenberg South Africa. This is where my heart and soul is.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share what I have learned about sustainability, and the outdoors with my hosts. My friend Christian is very knowledgeable about growing mushrooms and other fungi.
