About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel to as many new places as possible

ABOUT ME

I am in my early 20s and going to school for animal science getting mu BSC in agriculture. I am in life for a good time and the adventures. I am very outgoing and I love to do and try new things. I am a Bartender at a club in my home town because I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. I have a great sense of humor and am very easy going, not much gets to me. I speak English as my main language and I have taken two university spanish courses. I love to travel! I haven't been everywhere but it's on my list. I have visited 9 countires and lived in 2. I hope that list keeps forever going and I make great friends along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind to others, you don't know what they are going through. Be kind to animals, they have the purest hearts. Live always in the moments that take your breath away and never be complacent with mediocrity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couch surfers after a few friends couch surfed through Europe, so I haven't been able to participate yet. But, I hope to be able to host people at some point in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couch surfed yet, but I have a few friends who have or who have hosted and all have loved the experience and the people they met. My next trip I will most definitely try it!

Interests

I have a true passion for animals, I don't think there's anything I would rather spend my time with or learning about. I hope to specialize in endangered species if I become a veterinarian. I was in Costa Rica for 2 months living in the jungle for an internship doing biological conservation, I love turtles. I play various sports and was a competitive athlete for most of my life. I love to surf, it is by far my favorite sport. I enjoy spending time with friends doing what ever we happen to find fun at the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have over 8000 songs on my Ipod, so I pretty much love all music. I play 3 instruments and I sing. I read a lot books, one of my favorites is The Never Ending Story, I read it over and over again as a kid. The only movies I don't enjoy are scary ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. The moment I landed in Germany for the first time. Even when I got on the plane it still didn't seem real that I was actually going to make it Europe, and that I had gotten on a plane by myself to go so far away. It all seemed so surreal that I had actually achieved one of my life dreams to travel over seas. The moment I actually stepped foot in Germany, I was truly happy.

2. The very first wave I ever caught, on Waikiki beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. It sparked a love for the sport that has never gone away. I can't think of something that I've done that was more exhilarating to me then catching a massive wave and taking control of something so powerful. I hope to one day live somewhere where I can wake up and surf everyday.

3. Having lunch with a friend and deciding to get on a plane randomly to go to Disney World. Drove to the airport with our bags at 8pm that night, walked up to the ticket booth and bought the next tickets to Florida. We booked our hotel during out lay over and didn't have a flight home till we had been there for 4 days. Craziest thing I've ever done in my life.

I have more... Sorry I couldn't leave it at just one

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my knowledge of Canada, as I have lived here all my life and travelled most of it. I know my way around and would make a great tour guide for people that want to learn what Canada is all about. I hope to learn about different cultures and countries I visit, as well as new languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great friendship, adventure and fun! I will try almost anything and I am always up for the adventure. Need a friend to tag along, I'm game. If I am in a country where english is not the native language, I can most definitely teach you :)

Countries I’ve Visited
