I live in a spacious house with four humans and one dog. We are currently not hosting couch surfers since most of us are students or work full time, but I hope to meet up with people and to start hosting eventually!

Traveling is a passion of mine and I think this would be a great way to be able to see the world. I also love meeting new people and seeing cities from a locals point of view.

I love to read, cook, and explore! Nature is a huge passion of mine so I enjoy a good hike, some kayaking or canoeing. I eventually want to get into more technical climbs, and hope to climb several of the volcanoes near me, including Rainier!
Music is a big part of my life and I love going to concerts and dancing :)

You could say I'm a literary nerd. I love Kurt Vonnegut and Chuck Palahniuk, but I can also get into the classics. I'm actually minoring in Russian Literature so if ya wanna talk about Dostoevsky, Chekhov, or Bulgakov, I'm your girl! :D
My taste in movies matches my taste in books, dark humor all the way! I can also appreciate made for TV sci-fi movies, such as the modern classic, Sharktapus.

I'd love to teach people about my research in biology if interested, or talk about books and poetry, or just share personal experiences and advice.
I hope to learn from everyone I meet and every country I visit, as I think that everything can teach a pretty valuable lesson if you pay close enough attention.
