I’ve been traveling for the last few years and spent last year working in different parts of Australia on my WHV and somehow ended up moving to Airlie Beach! I’m new to the area but I’m keen to explore and share adventures around the beautiful Whitsundays.

I live in a neighbourhood next to Airlie Beach called Cannonvale but it’s really close to Airlie. There’s a bus which goes there twice an hour and if you’re an enthusiastic walker there’s a nice boardwalk that goes all the way form here to Airlie (around 5kms one way ;)).

This is an important bit - me and my partner both follow a plant based diet and we don’t want to have any animal products in our apartment so if you’d like to stay with us please please respect that and don’t bring any meat, fish, dairy or eggs! Yes it means no cheese, no dairy milk or yoghurt, no canned tuna or chicken ramen. You’re more than welcome to use the kitchen though only without using any of the above. Just so I know that you’ve read this, please tell me in your request what your favourite fruit is :)

I’ve traveled for a few years and have met many amazing people through CS who helped me lots when I needed it. And now that I can, I’d like to help other travellers and learn their stories!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like (almost) ALL KINDS of music, everything depends on my mood! From jazz through rock (I've even had an adventure with a guitar! it was SHORT and a bit painful tho... so maybe it's better not to admit it) to electro. I enjoy jumping around at a gig or even a little mosh pit (yes, yes...) but also like to sit down on my butt and listen to some soothing sounds.

I love reading, sailing has turned me into a bit of a book worm!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve sailed across the Pacific Ocean from Panama to New Zealand on a 25ft boat, hiked volcano Acatenango ❤️
