Hi I'm Maddy. I'm from New Zealand and travelling across the USA. I've bought a van and am driving from LA to New York, then through Canada to Vancouver where I'm going to live for a couple of years. I'm doing the trip by myself and would love to meet some new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm keen to get an insiders view of the city and meet some new people.

I started couch surfing about 2 weeks into this trip and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've made the most amazing new friends, been to two crazy fun beautiful music festivals, and had the best new experiences. The people are so generous with giving up their couch and time, I've been on some beautiful hikes, met their fantastic friends, had the best coffees and food, all from the great hosts I've met here. Once I get settled somewhere I'll definitely be hosting people!

I can teach you the art of spicy tomato eggs for breakfast. It's the perfect breakfast for all situations.

I like to think I'm pretty easy going and easy to get along with, so I can share general banter, hanging out time, and an eating and drinking buddy. I also love to do hiking if you're looking for a buddy :)
