ABOUT ME

Well, I'm your basic average person, or at least I was until about April of 2008 when I lost my mind, started caring about the world and became a vegetarian. Now I feel like I should work to make a difference in this world, and that I have the ability to do my part to help. I like adventure, and I love exploring new places. I'm also obsessed with learning new philosophies and religions, and tend to take a little from each thing I learn and make it my own.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a child of the world. I think all cultures have their own reason for being, and all people should have a right to live peacefully. I also think that people should be more in touch with the world as a whole, and try to see the big picture, instead of focusing on themselves.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm opening my house to surfers and my friends and I are going to do our best to get a reputation built for future surfing and potental DIY band adventuring.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed once, but I enjoyed it a lot and every surfer I've met has been wonderful.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch so many movies, its pretty impossible to limit it to a few. But I guess I'll try anyways: Boondock Saints, Fight Club, Hot Fuzz, Sean of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Forbidden Planet, For a Few More Dollars, Darkman, The Quick and the Dead.

Music is mostly Against Me!, Rise Against, Modest Mouse, and The Killers. However I listen to a wide array of music.

Books are limited, but my favorite two so far are World War Z and Around the World on a Bicycle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving once, and it was by far the most amazing experience of my life.

I'm hoping to see a lot of things in my life, and I really want to climb to the top of a mountain.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make paper pigs out of dollar bills... or capitalist pigs as I like to call them.

I also try to play guitar, so I can try to teach you to try to play guitar as well.

I love to learn to make things. My mom does a lot of crafts and sewing and my dad is extremely mechanically minded, so as a result I find it very important to me to be self sufficient and able to make and fix things on my own.
