ABOUT ME

Hi there!

I was born and raised in Vietnam. After high-school, I moved to France to study international business for 2 years in Paris before moving to the US and study at Arizona State University. Beginning 2010, I moved to Los Angeles for work and was enjoying and working in So Cal very much. I decided to move back to Vietnam for good in 2012 since I've always planned to move back to my home country and here I am :)

My friends would find me very funny, outgoing, respectful, helpful, thoughtful and reliable. I'm always keen on Living, Learning and Loving.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosting a few people for some cups of coffee or show them around Hanoi and it was always refreshing to hangout with some international minds, exchange good conversations while showing them around, because that's what I miss dearly after moving back to Vietnam.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I used to read lots of novels when I was in junior high and high-school but since college I mostly just read non-fiction books. Some of my favorites are "How to Win Friends and Influence People"; "Never Eat Alone"; "Good to Great"; "Freakonomics"; "Art of War"

Movies: I like watching comedies/actions and also like movies of Leonardo DiCaprio. Some top favorites includes: Hangover, Super Bad, Old School, Euro Trip, Wedding Crashers, Bodies of Lies, Departed, Inception, Blood Diamond, LA Confidential, Love Actually, Paris Je T'aime, Ocean 11, Casino Royale, etc. Once in a while I would pick some good documentaries like Inside Job, Full Metal Jacket, Smartest Guy in the Room, The Corporation, Food Inc, etc.

Shows: Mad Men, Entourage, The Daily Show, Discovery Channel, The Big Bang Theory.

Music: HipHop, R&B, Latin, Jazz. Some of my favorite artists are John Legend, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Marron 5, Usher, Bob Marley, Cold Play, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Black Eyed Peas, Carlos Santana, Rob Thomas, Marc Anthony, Dido, James Morrison, Enrique Iglesias, Dirty Heads, Seal (pretty random mix, I know)
I listen to music almost every day unless I'm on a hiking trip or in a cave and my iPod runs out of battery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was living in Paris for 2 years and have always kept wonderful memories about that. So much love, history, culture, and style in that city!

After graduation, I did a hiking trip to Havasupai (with Benny, the friend who told me about Couch Surfing). We did 6 hours of hiking each way and I was stunted by the beauty of the lake and falls we saw when we get there. I know it's hard to describe such natural beauty in words. If you google Havasupai, you probably will know why I think it's amazing :)

Teach, Learn, Share

If you travel in Vietnam, I will be more than happy to offer some tips and advice! Currently I can't host at my place yet but hanging out for some coffee or dinner is always a Do-able :)
