ABOUT ME

NEWLY UPDATED: I'm currently driving through Central Europe on my own in a Mini Cooper-cabriolet - feel free to join me on my trip if you want to and have got the time. My favorite thing to do on this travel is meeting local people who can share their culture, neighbourhood and story with me. If we can visit a cultural sight, drink wine or coffee, go to a bar, cook food, watch a movie (rather one in your native tongue), maybe smoke a cigaret if you've got this vice or listen to music then my hope is fulfilled.

I love talking to people, hearing about their lives and discussing important matters with people of different opinions than my own.

I am passionate about watching films - especially world cinema and old pictures. I'm very fond of Tim Burton, Nils Malmros, Alfred Hitchcock, Charlie Chaplin, Roy Andersson and films starring Robin Williams - and Disney movies are a great passion of mine!

I have a passion for music. The king is Phil Collins, I'm a fan of Eurovision, and jazz is awesome! I love going to musicals, concerts, cinema and theater.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Cook food with my visitors, talk with them, take them to places of interest, playing games with them, watching movies with them, listening to music with them. If my visitors only need a place to rest and don't want to talk or anything else, it is also very fine with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't been couchsurfing through this site yet, but I have hitchhiked through Europe and done a kind of couchsurfing there.

My first CouchSurfing-experiences at my place were twice in late 2013. Three girls from Argentina, Venezuela and Germany to begin with, and one guy from the Czech Republic that arrived the very day the others left. A very exciting experience!

I have hitchhiked from Paris to Bruxelles to Amsterdam to Groningen to Hamburg to Denmark.

I have smuggled bibles into a Muslim country and into a Communist country and been interrogated in Israel three times because of this.

I have run a distance of 27 km four days after running a distance of 17 km. That may not be amazing for other people, but it sure is for me. :P
