I am 26 years old, born and raised in Copenhagen, the capitol of the oldest continuous kingdom in the world: Denmark. I have always loved to explore the countries beyond the Danish borders, and this interest has taken me many places across six continents of the world. I am still hungry for new adventures, meeting new people and hopefully making a lot of friends on my travels.

After studying in Australia, I explored USA and met a lot of open-minded persons, and was lucky to stay with hosts in Los Angeles, Boston and New York City.

At the moment I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, and look forward to more adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I would love to meet locals when I travel, since they always know the secrets that "Lonely Planet" travel-guides haven't published yet. And in general I enjoy meeting new people, and experience the culture of a country by meeting the people living there.

Interests

I enjoy taking photos, and have been operating cameras on TV, live concerts, film and music videos.
I love cooking, mainly because I love food. When I was 14 years old, I helped out in a kitchen at an Italian restaurant. I attended a cooking school in Thailand, and I believe that I make a great Créme Brûlée (classic French dessert) amongst other dishes from various cultures.
I am a sporty person playing football, badminton and also running a lot. To this day I have completed 5 marathons (42,5 km / 26,2 miles). I have a scuba divers certificate, and I am a trained fire fighter educated at the Danish Emergency Management Agency.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Filming a race going through Spain, Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal, I slept one night in the middle of the Sahara desert, which was an extraordinary experience - the silence and beauty of the landscape was like being on another planet. Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone how to cook a fantastic créme brûlée. Or how to use a camera, or editing software. If anyone wants to learn a few phrases in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian, I'll be happy to teach that :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories from my travels, good spirit and cooking of all kinds of delicious meals. I can even take a few portrait photos if needed for a CV or whatever, since I'll probably bring some of my professional camera equipment on my travels.
