My name is Mads, I am from Saint Paul MN and currently I am traveling around the West Coast of the US with my best friend Molly, who is an awesome artist and the funniest person I know. I love going on adventures, being outside, camping, swimming, reading, cooking, animals and plants and new and interesting people like you! Molly and I would love to stay with you, we are fun, easy going and always down for a good time, hike, story, adventure, or new opportunity doing possitive things!

Movies: The Wizard of Oz, The Big Lebowski, True Romance, The Royal Tennenbaums, Death Proof, Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, funny movies, scary movies.
Music: Lots of it, and all the time. Lately listening to: lots of bluegrass, Led Zeppelin, Grateful Dead, Devendra Banhart, Lauryn Hill, The Smiths, Peter Bjorn and John, Bassnectar, Get busy committee, Mos Def and Ratatat.
Books: I LOVE to read, my favorite books include: The Alchemist, Harry Potter, Into the Wild, Alice in Wonderland, A Wrinkle in Time and anything by Amy Hempel, Chuck Palahniuk, Brett Easton Ellis and my all time favorite, Richard Brautigan.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Roadtrip to New Mexico last spring, saw some amazing things, hiked some amazing trails and experienced some very cool canyons, ruins and hot springs.
Saw some amazing aquatic life while snorkeling around a coastal reef outside of nassau, bahamas.
cliff dove into lake superior in the middle of the winter.
white water rafting for a long weekend every year for three years--such a rush
Safari Bush Walk in Africa, saw lions and leopord and leopord cubs and rhinos and wilderbeast.
traveling around south africa, saw and did some amazing things, i met some awesome travelers from all over the world, i saw big huge jellyfish, and baby jellyfish, and swam in the indian ocean a bunch, i dipped my foot into the point where the atlantic and indian oceans meet, i saw a leopord defend her cub to a huge hyena by growling and smacking him in the face, i saw lions and lion cubs, i saw a gathering of 200 or more elephants-all playing around a water hole, a snake came into my room and mezmorised me me (possibly a green mamba or a boomslang) and so much more. ive got the traveling bug now, if you'd like to talk to me about adventuring, im very interested. next stop: central america.

Things I could teach: How to relax, how to swim, how to communicate with animals, how to cook, how to do basic first aid and perform cpr (I am red cross certified), how to garden, how to harvest your garden, how to braid things, how to strech, how to read, how to roll a joint, how to write, how to have an awesome picnic.
Things I would love to learn: How to climb a mountain, how to hold my breath for a long time underwater, how to scuba dive, how to walk on my hands, how to ride a bike for extended periods of time, how to grow everything that can possibly be grown, how to build a house, how to love everything that i love as much as possible.
