I am a Georgia born Californian traveling the country and visiting different farms and sustainable communities :) helping people with their gardens, building projects, and off grid developments!

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe that we learn best through our experiences, putting dreams into action, and connecting with others who feel passionately about the same things that we do. Together, we become the change we wish to see in this world!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

right now - I gave transitioned from host to happy surfer :) Gypsy mode: engage!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been an "un-official" couch surfer for many years, mostly playing the role as the host. For several years I had a fabulous apartment in The Haight in San Francisco, and we became a hub/hostel for brilliant friends, old and new, who would come share our home and meals with us and we would go see music, explore the city, and learn from each other. Whenever I travel, I love staying with others in their homes as well :) you get a more raw organic perspective on a place when shown to you through the eyes of a local.

I am an EARTHSHIP nut - - I have a passion for sustainable building, permaculture design, and innovative off-grid concepts. I also enjoy organic gardening, cooking delicious meals, dancing, traveling, herbal medicine, hiking, biking, reading, writing....
