ABOUT ME

I love making music. I make mostly funkhop, 90's boombap hiphop combined with funk. I'm a MC in a hiphopfunkband (SkunkFunk) and i produce beats with a MPC-1000. I often sample the jazz/soul/funk/blues music. My biggest passion is freestyle rap, which means to improvise about anything. I play a little bit of gituar, alt-saxophone and i love to beatbox.

I'm into backpacking and discovering the world. I've been backpacking for a year in Australia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar and Malaysia. This trip was so amazing! I met hundreds of inspiring people. Some friends back home asked me when i came back: ''How was your vacation?'' ...haha and i was like ''it's not a vacation, it's a whole experience''

I got my advanced PADI certifiate and i love to dive (i saw a whale shark from 5 meter long at 2 meter distance in Koh Tao, whooopwhoop!).

I'm free-lance life-enjoyer! I was a supervisor of people with a psychiatric background and/or drug history for like 9 ears. I gratuated in psychology as a trainer and coach for students that don't know what they want to do after their studie. I lived for a half year in Curacao for my internship employee- and organisation psychology as a trainer- and coach. I developed a new musical-psychological training as an application on the ART (Agression Replacement Training), called MOZART (M.O.Z stands for Muzikaal Onderdeel Zelfexpressie, which means Musical Component Selfexpression).

I trained the participants in social-cognitive skills, anger control and moral reasoning, but at the same time they had to make a hiphop track.

PHILOSOPHY

To put my philosophy in this small explanation box, is asking for misinterpretation. You can ask as many question you want and i will answer them honestly.

But to relate my philosphy on couch-surfing: I believe the soul gets formed by new experiences. That's why i have the urge to look for new adventures. I love to meet new people and my experience is that you don't have to know someone for a long time to get in real contact.

So a close-line: ''If you give some sugar, you'll get some candy back ;)''

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you're saying: ''hey there! you can sleep at my couch!'', I'll automatically say: ''hey there! i'll serve you while staying at your house!''

Doing the dishes, cleaning or whatever you want. I'll give something back.

I think:
-Who really wants will search for a possibility, those who don't are looking for a reason.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed on a couch from a woman @ paris! Lovely experience! The day when i woke she said: ''Oew, i'm a bit late for work so i got to go ... can you close the house when you leaving? travel save! bye!'' ... There i was ... alone in house ... I was like: Wauw.... I admired her faith in people so i went downstairs and bought some flowers and a bottle of wine with a card: ''Thank you for the faith'' and i left.

I also have been hitch-hiking with my mate and slept at houses of unknown people. All the time: great unique experiences!

I think it's not a coincidence we're born with 2 ears and 1 mouth ;).. haha.
