My name is Mae Fuller. I'm 20 years old, and currently doing a praktikum at the University of Bremen until August. I'm in my 3rd year of university, and will return to the states in the fall to finish my year at Hampshire College in Amherst Mass USA (a very alternative/challenging school where I study Feminist Technoscience and science modeling.)

I signed up for couch surfing because the place where I was going to stay unexpectedly fell through. I'm going to Berlin on the 17th of feb for a very special tattoo for my mom, who passed away 5 years ago. So I'd need somewhere to stay for the night of the 17th and 18th.

I'll listen to just about anything, but techno is not my thing. I actually like so many different kinds that it's a bit painful to try to pick a few for examples. As for books I really really love speculative fiction (though I like reading all genres) so favorite I've read in the last two months would have to be Midnight Robber by Nalo Hopkinson..

hmm not really sure what to say... I mean I moved out at 16, worked full time while in highschool, finished with good grades and got just about a full scholarship to uni, and somehow now I'm here? It's kinda a confusing when I think about it.
