Hello everyone my name is Maé, I am a 24 year old student (actually I'm about to graduate before the summer). I live in Rennes on the West coast of France, I moved there a few years back to study and I have made strong friendships here that I hold very dear. I think my friends would say I am a cheerful person, I am quite upbeat and also always eager to discover or learn about something new.
I have always been an outdoorsy girl, my favourite things in the summer are wind surfing or paragliding and I love hiking in the Pyrenees. I am keen on cooking for my friends and have been a vegetarian for about a year, mostly out of ecological concerns. I keep up on french politics as well as international and I'm always intersted in learning about other lifestyles or habit, new ways of thinking. That's the reason why I have travelled a bit, for instance I went on a exchange to Melbourne (Australia) when I was 15 for half a year, to stay in a host family and study there. More recently I spent 6 months in Manchester (UK) with the Erasmus program, as a part of my medical course. As a futur doctor I believe open-mindness is one of the most important qualities to have.
