Hi, I'm Mae! I was born in the Philippines and since I'm three years old I'm living in Switzerland. I grew up in a very little village, that's one of the reasons why I love the surrounding nature.
I can't imagine a life without mountains, forests, amazing landscapes and any kind of lakes. But specially I really really like the sea. Either spending time at the beach oder discovering the underwater world through diving.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband and me spend amazing 15 months by travelling around the world. From January 2019 until March 2020 we have been in Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Spain.
We love the simple, uncomplicated, almost humble way of travelling. So how could we do it better than couchsurfing? In our opinion, there's no better way to get in touch with other people. We love to learn other cultures, discover their country, city, village or cooking the local food... Just living a little part of their way of life!

Since April 2020, we're back again and working hard for our next travels. Maybe in your country? ;-)
