ABOUT ME

I like to explore things I cannot see, drink coffee, pretend to read maps, listen to old people talk about their lives, wander around new cities, take naps in public parks, drink into trembling sunsets and learn new words. I also have a B.A. in pre-law and comparative Islamic studies, so I like to engage in conversations about far away places and social justice.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to work towards being a global citizen, to give back, to work hard, tread softly and to learn for the sake of knowledge

I live my life for people because nothing feels better than being connected.

I've hosted, I've drank and laughed endlessly with everyone from Alaskan commercial fisherman to rambling drifters riding through Africa in search of clearer skies

I've gotten Sak Yant (yantra tattooing) from a Buddhist monk in a forgotten temple two hours outside of Bangkok, Thailand, the place of my birth.
