ABOUT ME

I am a traveler at heart and if I could that would be all I would do all the time. Sadly I have other responsibilities (and insufficent fundings) but I try to travel at least once a year and I always stay away for more than a month. Few days or a week only makes me angry. I would like to see everything there is to see in the world! I will never get enough of the incredible variation and differences we have in this world. I am infinitely curious and I need to explore everything (also I get bored easily when I stay in one place for too long. I also like to explore people which is part of why traveling is so great.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in New York summer and fall 2008. I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences!

Interests

traveling, getting to know new people, exploring. I'm interested and curious about everything. I read a lot because I also study english literature. Music though I can't play anything..maybe someday the harmonica (I will learn!)

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music. I'm not gonna list everything here..it would be a long list. Mostly indie but I also like music from different parts of the world strongly influenced by culture. I try to keep my ears open to all genres.

I read a lot, righ now I love Haruki Murakami, can't get enough! Also Margaret Atwood, John Fowles, Paul Auster..and my all time favourite Lord of the rings!

Pedro Almodovar movies are my favorite. I don't really have a favourite movie, it depends on the mood I'm in, I watch a lot of movies though. I like all genres except horror, can't stand it, it doesn't appeal to me in any way. I have watched a few in my life and they still haunt me..my imagination is just too good :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know..I love New York, so going there was pretty amazing. I didn't think I'd like it so much..
I do iceswimming (well I only dip in to the lake for a couple of seconds) people seem to think that's crazy/amazing.
Seems I haven't done anything that amazing yet :)
