I'm trying to learn Arabic!!! If you speak it and will help me learn three new words or phrases, you can come stay.

(also keen to practise my Spanish which is at a decent level already so native Spanish speakers get bonus points)

I live in London and I have a one bedroom flat with a mezzanine. You can stay in the mezzanine where there is a double bed but you must not sleep-roll off the side as there's no barrier. If you drop, you'll have to take yourself to hospital for the broken wrist/ankle! Otherwise, it is spacious enough to sit up in and the ladder is very sturdy.

I work full-time in television and on the side as a freelance independent filmmaker. This means I'll probably be too busy to take you around London. I also don't have spare keys so you can't come back too late /while I'm at work. However, we can cook dinner together and I'd like to hear your stories. I make documentaries so am obviously interested in people and what makes them tick.

If it's the weekend, I might have more time to hang out and if you're going to an art gallery or a museum, I might join you. London is one of my favourite places but I've spent my whole life here so it's easy to forget just how special a place it can be until you see it through a newcomer's eyes.

The mezzanine is occasionally being used by asylum seekers so I can't accept requests in advance. Five days notice maximum please. No smokers and no couples.
