Enjoying life in ātaahua Aotearoa, spending quality time with my daughter, building my business and helping others to fulfill their dreams and visions.

ABOUT ME

I am a bit of a Jack of all Trades. Back in Germany I worked as a (sports) journalist until I decided I needed a break. I came to New Zealand in 2010 as an Au Pair, fell in love with the country and its people and found a new passion working in Early Childhood Education. Since my beautiful darling daughter came along in 2016 my priorities have changed, however. I am now focusing on my family and building a business from home to create the life and the future for us that we have always dreamed of, including traveling the world and seeing all the wonderful places that MOther Earth has created for us.

PHILOSOPHY

Every dreamer knows it is entirely possible to be homesick for a place you've never been to. Perhaps even more homesick than for familiar grounds.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this stage I'd love to meet other Couchsurfers, show them around Whangarei and meet for a cuppa if they need company.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started using this website very intensively in September 2009 when I was travelling through the US with my best friend. We surfed a lot of peoples' couches and had some really great experiences. I've also been hosting quite a few people back in Leipzig (Germany) and enjoyed every single one of them.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

the world is full of amazing things to see or do it's hard to name just one... I've seen wonderful sunsets during a sailing trip at the Whitsundays in OZ, I've been snowboarding in the Rockies which was quite an experience, I've celebrated New Year's Eve in a few different countries now, been bushwalking in Tassie... I could go on and on and on...
