CURRENT MISSION

Winter migration to somewhere I've never been before. Planning to spend my time making sculpture, cycling, meeting new friends, doing a bit of HelpXing.

ABOUT ME

I am a nomadic sculptor, I am very passionate about my work. I live & work out of my camper van. I would, in theory, like to stay in one place, but I don't know where/how yet; too many beautiful places in the world. One day I would like to build a sculpture garden, maybe a house...or a sculpture I can live in. I mainly work in clay & wood. You can see my work at: www.alijeffery.co.uk

Living in a van can be lonely. Hence couch surfing; I would like to spend the occasional evening cooking/sharing a meal (I love cooking), a chance to do some yoga, hang out with some friendly people, play some music (I play the musical saw & attempted to learn guitar...can sing a bit).

And if you don't have a lot of room, I have my van that I can sleep in.

PHILOSOPHY

Interessi

Cycling, yoga, gardening, swimming (in rivers or the sea), the natural world, getting up high (mountains, like the Sierra Nevada in Spain). Animals; I have owned/worked with animals my whole life. I have a dog (fluffy lurcher) Myrtle, who travels with me. She is super-chilled out & friendly. I learnt to ride horses when I was 4 and have worked with them ever since. Donkeys too. Music; a huge range from alt country to bangin' techno. I like to join in playing it too (musical saw & singing). Very keen on dancing also.
