I have three passions:

1- Nature and Biology. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to spend a day in the mountains or to stay at my computer analyzing some good biological data :3

2- Travel and to get lost. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to wander through a new place and discover its secrets. *-*

3- People and communicating! Nothing is better than a good conversation and that feeling of joy after having a great time with someone! ^^

I am a very friendly person who will respect your space and therefore (I think) I am a very good person to live with. I am social, peaceful and sometimes timid but with my occasional lets-go-out-crazy time. I am sometimes random and have silly humor... I can be very shy at first but I will be that person that will dance with you in the middle of a street if I am happy! :)

If you know a lot of things I will like you. I love to learn and I cannot live without experiencing new things: without reading books, watching movies, going to a new restaurant, a new art exposition, a new museum, a new city or country, meeting new people! I enjoy good conversations about nature, cinema, books, music music music, history (somethings here and there! but I am not an expert!), life (ohh... the great conversations about life!) and travel! :)

Note of attention: I am not a great cooker (mostly watever-is-in-the-fridge-is-good-to-eat kind of thing!), but I manage!! I love great food though!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always couchesurfed at friends' or friends of friends couchs/rooms. So I guess I did not join Courchsurfing before because I always had someone I knew to go to. I heard about the concept from two friends of mine who have either hosted or been a guest and that loved the experience. So I decided to join and give it a try! I've always traveled either alone or with friends and family but always enjoyed best the trips were I stayed at someones house since I always get to now the place where I am at from the host perspective. This is why I think that CS is a great way to travel.

I am currently not accepting guests (living with parents and haven't convinced them yet...) but will be happy to show you around Porto! :)

Interests

I am interested in being happy! :) Having the time of my life!! And to learn and learn... Learn a lot about anything! I just love round knowledge!! Although I tend to forget a lot about things that I've learned. So I will love to hear about them again and again!

I love music, love Nature and animals!, love to drink a cool sangria with friends and talk, love to dance and love to relax but also to work (Yes! I love to work too because I love what I do!!)! Love to travel alone or with someone. Love to walk around with no destination, get lost and finding myself again! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorites of favorites is Radiohead and alternative/indi/techno/trance and-al-related-types-of-music. But I will listen pretty much to anything! :)

I love good movies and non-clichet ones. Stanley Kubric, Tarantino, von Trier, Christopher Nolan, Tim Burton... All made movies that changed me somehow! Love sci-fi, superheros, fantasy, magic, dragons, good action movies, good romantic movies, good dramas and thrillers, good insane and weird looking movies!! But specially GOOD! I can't watch horror movies though T-T

Fantasy books ftw!! Harry Potter, Lord of the Wrings, Golden Compass, The Name of the Wind series, Game of Thrones... and on and on... But I like the occasional good fiction/drama/thriller (José Saramago is my favorite! George Orwell, Steinbeck, Margaret Atwood... Oh gosh! To many to name...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Convince my mother to have a cat (it took almost 20 years to convince her ...). Her name is Kika :D

Seriously now... I am trying to do an amazing thing that is discover why hares change color! :P
