My name is Mafalda Joyce (you pronounce like “myfather” ahaha) and I’m 21 years old. I'm from Porto, studying in Lisbon and now I'm in Erasmus in Thessaloniki, Greece. I can host you in one of the three cities, it depends on the date.
I am always passionate about learning and exploring new stuff.
I worked as a bartender and teacher (helping children to study) to saving money for university and traveling.
I have been to 20 countries so far, I know it´s not so much but im very proud beacause in my age there aren’t much people that have done the same. I am really interested in new experience and getting to know more about different cultures and countries. I want to see the world with my own eyes.
I'm a talkative person most of the time. I like challenging things and love to do something exciting. Always celebrating life for no reason :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

One of my friends joined CS and she told me amazing experiences that she gained from it. She made many friends. This is a change to know myself more and the world in another way, to know new people and share cultures. I'm still at the beginning of this experience.
The best way to discover the countries is to meet their hosts. So why not do it all in one?
“Once you open your doors to someone around the world, the door will open for you!”

I like to travel, because I can experiencedifeferent cultures. I want to travel alone which I believe can let me know myself a little more.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think this box has a diferent meaning for each person! I couldn't say if there's something amazing in my life so far, I've never done anything that most people consider amazing like volunteering in Africa or skydiving... But I believe that every new experience, every day can be an amazing experience if you conceive it like one.

I think everyday we learn something new, I would like to have some tips to take advantage of this experience on Couchsurfing.
