Hi there! I'm Magali, an English teacher currently living near St Quentin (02). I'm always happy to meet new people from everywhere, go out and chat over a drink, etc. I love experiencing new cultures and languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am happy to meet people and show them around my city. I can also drive around my area so we can visit some places nearby. I also have a couch available if you want to stay several days.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started using CouchSurfing when I was working as an aupair in England. I've met some really nice people thanks to this website and I've been able to visit lots of places in England too. I'd like to do the same for some travellers in France!

Interests

I like meeting new people, travelling, discovering new ways of life, going out... I also like reading a lot, especially classical English books. I enjoy cooking too, especially cakes and of course I like eating! I'm also fond of sports: running, cycling and swimming. But I'm always happy to discover and try new sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music but I don't like a specific type of music. I particularly like dancing! Concerning movies I'm more into the comedy type. I love reading during my free time. I particularly like Oscar Wilde and Aldous Huxley 's books.
I really enjoyed 'Eat, Pray, Love' (movie and book). I also really like Julia Roberts, Audrey Hepburn and Meryl Streep.
And I must say I'm addicted to cookbooks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done was an European travel tour. I visited almost every European countries and I' ve learned a lot about myself and about the different ways of life. Best memories ever!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new languages and new way of life. I'm quite happy to teach some French to anyone who wants to. I also love cooking, teaching and learning new recipes from all around the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some French or give you tips about French cuisine!
I can also drive you around if you want to see more of my city.
