About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To survive every day life, while waiting for my own satanic mechanic.

ABOUT ME

I'm able to live in peace with other human beings and with animals as well, except for reptiles (and dentists too). Usually i don't kill people and I have no imaginary friend, yet.
So even though i love to walk alone at night, i suppose (or do i hope?) to be quite sane.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to be different in order to became special.
If you don't accept to lose you will never win.
Beware of the fast and easy answers: they are always wrong.
"You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes well you just might find
You get what you need". (Their majesties The Rolling Stones). Is that enough?

Music, Movies, and Books

Ultimately russian litterature; maybe the most beatifull of the contemporary time as Hobsbawn said and, in my opinion, the "maybe" can be cut off. War and peace, The Master and Margarita and The twelve chairs above all. Beside russian novels other books that i loved are Moby Dick, The Paul street boys, The bridge over the Drina, Il gattopardo, One hundred years of loneliness, Una questione privata, The Good Soldier Å vejk...and many others, i can't enumerate them all.
About music: Punk rock and rock'n'roll; even though i'm italian in my heart there's no room left for Ramazzotti and musicians like him. Now some names: The Rolling Stones (before dying i wanna see them, and they shall survive me... i'm sure about it), the Clash, Iggy pop, Johnny Cash, MC5, The Cramps, The Sonics, The Dead Kennedys, Fabrizio De Andrè, The Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack, Social Distortion, Gogol Bordello, The Pogues...
Movies i loved: The wave, all Troisi's ones (included the theater plays performed by La Smorfia), Starring Totò: Un turco napoletano, Miseria e nobiltà and Totò contro Maciste, Carpenter's 1997: escaping from NY and Big trouble in Little China, No man's land, The big sleep (the first one, with Bogart), V for vendetta, Febbre da cavallo, I soliti ignoti, Joyeux Noël, The fearless vampire killer, Chinatown, Burton's Sleepy Hollow and Big fish... What else?... ah! In the end i'm an X-files addicted.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-A basic demonstration on italian gesticulation for foreigners, commenting a specific dictionary (!) on the matter provided by the "pupils".

- Once, during a travel abroad, i crossed a big functioning railway helped by a kind passerby, who held my hand like a good uncle untill we reached the other side. By the way, and not to mention that i was already a grown man (with dark moustache), i had only asked him if crossing the rails were forbidden. Obviously i thanked him without any complaint or explanatory comment.

Teach, Learn, Share

To teach: how to talk for hours saying nothing.
To learn: how to make the above mentioned ability usefull, if it is... i'm not sure yet.
To share: cigarettes, and the lighter as well. For now.
