I enjoy exploring, philosophising, learning about other people and other cultures. I am introverted but I'm not antisocial. I want to learn as much as humanly possible, keep an open mind, treat people kindly. I believe we should always be grateful and leave things better than how we found them.

Hospitality is an art that is most beautiful when both the host and the guest fulfil their responsibilities to one another from a place of affection and genuine pleasure rather than a sense of duty. There is an ethic to this exchange that is too often overlooked or disregarded.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelling about, having new experiences and meeting interesting open-minded people.

Remember, this is a travel site, this is not Tinder. I am not looking to exchange anything here except hospitality. Do not contact me for dates.

I AM CURRENTLY ONLY HOSTING WOMEN due to the size and lack of privacy in my apartment.

I will not respond to requests from men or couples or generic messages. You should at the very least get my name right. If you fail to meet the above criteria your requests will be immediately denied without explanation as everything is clearly stated here. If you show up with uninvited guests then no one will be staying here. My home is not "free Airbnb."

I can host, however, my apartment is very small (15m). It's a typical Parisian studio on the 6th floor with no lift. I have a little kitchenette, and shower, but privacy is non-existent, which also why I WILL ONLY HOST WOMEN and single guests. The toilets are shared between several apartments. There is an air mattress for guests if you need it. If you have a sleeping bag that helps as I don't have many extra sheets. I don't give my key out to anyone, so we will have to plan some things in advance.
