ABOUT ME

We are an easygoing couple. We love traveling and getting around. We have hosted people coming from India and Argentina to LA and love to meet people and learn about their cultures. We have here a mixture of fun friends, great souls from Spain, India, Peru, Mexico, Canada, USA, etc. We like snorkeling, beaching, watching movies, listening to music and meeting friends to have a great "asado" (argentinean bbq). Juan is very into music and loves video recording. Magda loves taking pictures and chatting all day long.

PHILOSOPHY

Having dreams and wishing something intesively is the way not only to get it but also to enjoy the trip to your dream.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As we love travelling and meeting people, we think the best way to get to really know a place is by meeting the locals. CS means for us a deeper and time saving way to see a place. We also like to have people here and learn from new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Absolutly great experience, being host and couchsurfing (In London, Sevilla, Vienna, Prague, Amsterdam and Brugge)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: all (rolling stones, rod stewart, andres calamaro).
Movies: The 6th Sense,El laberinto del fauno (Pawn's laberynth), the hours, cinema paradiso, il postino, talk to her, volver, Motorcycle diaries. Lots of argentinean, spanish, italian and french movies besides some hollywood (independent specially) good films.
Books: The Da Vinci code, contemporary latinamericans writers (garcia marquez, cortazar, vargas llosa), milan kundera, and many, many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise on top of the Haleakala Volcano in Maui. Snorkeling in Brazil and Maui. Whale watching. Michelangelo's David in Florence. Taking 8000 pictures in 35 days, etc, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

Magda'd love to teach spanish. She loves all about languages and the language development. She has knowledge on early intervention and loves babys and helping the mothers on how to foster them. Juan knows a lot about contemporary music in general. He plays guitar. Magda'd love to learn photography. Juan wants to learn more about web design. We both would love to share our culture (and pictures) about Argentina.
