After first meeting- a kind of a shy, not saying much, calm girl. But that's not the real me! I'm a person with energy, having a thousand ideas in a minute, also.. temperamental ;)
A medical student spending 25 hours of the day (I wish it was possible!) with lovely medical books, but having a huge satisfaction when I can help somebody.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends told me that it's the best idea to follow your dreams connected with travelling, so I've just listened to them! I want to see the place from the other side, I'd like to watch the "real life" of the city, not only these for tourists. The favourite cafe of my host, the best place where I can get croissants or the place where the locals spend their free time.. I want to visit the place not only with the guidebook. Moreover it's the perfect opportunity to meet new people, make contact. And, of course, the best opportunity for a poor student to start following her travelling dreams from now, even if she doesn't have fortune in her wallet.

Interests

- volleyball is my love since I remember. I would become a volleyball player, but I was given 1,60m height and the dreams of being in the national Polish team definitely collapsed ;) But I'm a huge fan, cheering on our teams even if the transmissions are in the middle of the night.

- cooking, baking, food! Love testing new recipes, tasting something new, bake for the family. If I don't become a doctor, I will open a cafe. Definitely.

- decoupage- it's the arts technique of decorating old furniture, wood and a perfect idea to do a present for somebody on your own. And it's a wonderful way to calm down and forget about everything for a moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music? I listen to many different music genres. Mostly jazz, pop, also classical music, but I like some rock and metal too.

Movies? I'm a lover of movies with Tom Hanks- Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, The Terminal, Cast Away, The Green Mile- I've seen them so many times that I almost know all the dialogues, but I'm always moved like after watching for the first time.

Books- these with action or about travelling. I like when something is happening all the time and hate when half of the book is about beautiful landscape.
