i like to think of myself as a linguist. for now i'm writing my m.a. thesis on tamil onomatopoeia in comparison with african languages. apart i'm a workaholic barista and pub-goer.

兴趣

languages mostly. especially some nuance in meaning, false friends and borrowing. also coffee and food. i'm a vegetarian and i love to preparing all kinds of dishes from veggies. it's the best to slice a large beetroot or chop some pak-choi. oh and i'm addicted to buying fresh stuff from an open-air markets.
