Overview
About Me
I am Magdalena Holz, 19 years old, and sister of two younger girls. I love to travel and give the same chance to other people too, especially for those who don't want to pay too much for a hotel which can be very expensive in Heidelberg or Nürnberg. At the moment i live in Nürnberg and study psychology but i'm kind of shuttling between Hd and Nü because i love my family so much and thus am mostly in hd when i have holidays. One year ago i did a volunteer service in Tanzania and i like to keep meeting new people from different cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I pretty much already told every reason why i'm on couchsurfing. But additionaly to the advantage of paying less and meeting new people i also like the idea of having or being someone the traveler can ask for tips or help and profit from his experiene in the city. For example to find the right (or most cheap) ticket for the local public transport or a good restaurant sometimes is kind of difficult. So it's nice to have also an adviser, friend or talking companion in your host or guest.
Music, Movies, and Books
I really like every kind of music besides heavy metal and techno but i am always open to try new sounds. I like particularly indie, hiphop, bongo flava, reggea, jazz, deep purple :P and world music.
I read when i can but recently not too much. A very good book for me is a book from which i learn something like "Narziss and Goldmund" from Herman Hesse or "to kill a mocking bird" from Harper Lee. I love those books. Sometimes i also enjoy fantasy books and novels like "under the never sky" or "die Walfängerin".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't think there is exact one amazing thing...i experienced a lot of amazing things and the essence of it is mostly the same: Do things that you love with people you love :) but one amazing thing was going for a safari in Tanzania and see the wide crater of ngorongoro vulcano...to see the nature and animals was staggering and just beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn a lot, especially about life and people. Some of my hobbies are writing and jogging, both not really something to teach;) so...i dont kow..i probably can teach you how to cook a tanzanian meal or gather some wild herbs and make salad out of it. That's something i love to do.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share almost everything but have to share nothing. I am very uncomplicated and can adapt very well to the circumstances.
