About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saving money for my 6 month travels in South America for next year. It's tough atm but 100% worth it! Come back alive from my 2 months trip in SE Asia (so I can tell my mum "I told you so!" :)

ABOUT ME

On 31st of May together with my younger sister we're flying to Bangkok. We're spending 2 months travelling around Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam! We both are extremely excited, though a bit afraid of the unknown.

I'm cheerful, easy going 24 year old with passion for travelling. I like meeting new people, especially from different countries. By meeting them I can learn about their culture and their lives, as well as share my own experiences. Spending time with my friends and family is very important to me.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind and helpful to others. What goes around comes around, right?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can share my travel experiences with other fellow travelers as well as show people around Leeds.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never tried Couchsurfing before, though a couple of my fiends have and they had a really good experience, so I thought why not :)

Interests

Trying new challenging things, hiking, long walks, swimming in the ocean, ice skating, watching live hockey and basketball games (sadly I don't get too many opportunities to do so), watching sunrises and sunsets, kayaking, zip-lining, hearing about amazing lives of other people, watching wildlife and obviously travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In summer 2013 in Jasper, Canada, I was on a walk to the town with a couple of my friends. After leaving our hostel we spotted a black bear 10 meters away from us! It was unbelievable! I've never seen such an animal. Of course I freaked out and started running back to the hostel. Fortunately, my friends stopped me in time. If the bear saw me running it would probably attack us. I'm glad I've seen a black bear tho I'd preferred I'd handled it better :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Respect toward others is the most important moral value a person possess. If somebody commits their time to spend with you, show you around the city, cook for/with you, or just offers a roof over your head, there is no bigger 'thank you' than respecting that person. Apart from maybe taking her/him to a fancy restaurant for a posh meal ;) hehhe

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughs, good cooking (possibly baking as well - I'm improving!), love for ice cream
