I enjoy spending time with people, exchaning experiences and talking about all kinds of things - including myself if there is interest, but I'm not very good at introducing myself in forms.

What can I tell you? Lately I've been dreaming of mountains and dogs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it makes it easier for people to find what they need and to help each other out. It enables travelling and adventure when one doesn't have a lot of money or doesn't want to be a part of the tourist industry. I believe in sharing resources such as knowledge of place or a place to stay.

Interests

Veganism, queer -theory and practice, human rights, animal rights, environment (-al issues) and so on. Professionally I'm mostly interested in science of education and social science. Privately I'm interested in almost everything. I enjoy participating in social change, reading books, hanging out, listening to music, watching movies and exercising my creativity. Sometimes I party. Yes, it happens.

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot of different kinds... Different periods in life and different moods crave different input. Am I right?

Right now:

I mostly listen to radio shows that mix all kinds of genres: folk music, world music, unknown oldies, electronic music, new music, dance music, classical music, acoustic...

I mostly read inspiring radical magazines on cultural- and societal-issues, novels and ethology books.

I prefer to watch comedies and nature documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To me it's amazing to be alive. To stay alive. To redefine the meaning of being alive. To be able to relate to my environment.

I'm very glad to have felt hope and excitement and happy I still do. Not all the time but often enough!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Friendliness and a good mood. An open mind and an interest in the hosts environment. Vegan cooking, some knowledge of dogs and other animals (humans included) and a will to explore the outdoors.
