ABOUT ME

We met during our medical clerkship in Recife, Brazil after when we almost covered the whole country and from that time on our paths have been united. We studied hard and have always tried to devote any spare moment to travel. From that time Janek made it to spend one year in Germany and then we worked together as interns in a hospital in Nepal. We try to broaden our horizons in many fields but that is not that easy if you take into consideration our professional duties.

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy... I decided to become doctors in a strong belief that my work would bring some help and relief to others. I assure you that the life a doctor is not that easy here. I are telling you this so you could understand our "philosophy". I want to live a life that is interesting, adventurous and, above all, offers something worthy for others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had some substantial level of experience in that field though we never used any online platform to practice that. In Brazil we were living for a month with our Brazilian friends' families. Because in every family there was a medical student we used to unterstand each other quite easily. In Nepal we shared a house for a month with a noble Nepali family who treated us like their own children. In Peru we stayed for a month at our Peruvian friend's family who then became our real friends. We still keep warm relations with all these friends!

Interests

My first and greatest interest is travel! I love to read about it and to listen to other people's stories. We find great fun in learning languages - I already speak English and Spanish. I also try my powers in photography - you can check some of his works at:

We love to ski and we do it at least twice a year!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done: trekking in Amazon Jungle and in the Himalaya.
Seen: Salar de Uyuni, Machu Picchu, Christ the Redeemer Statue, Pantanal, Taj Majal, Iguaçu Falls and many things in Europe :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Polish, English, German, Spanish :) Unfortunatelly we do not posess any widely wanted skills we could share. However we have many but they probably won't be that appealing for not-doctors!
Learn: We have always wanted to learn how to cook, because it has always been a mistery and we did not have that much time to do it properly!
