ABOUT ME

Incurable optimist, trying to reconcile so many different things at once - as a bit hyperactive person usually in move, seeking for a while of chilling out and appreciating small pleasures. Constantly delighted in this world, I try to discover as much aspects as I can.

I love nature and respect for our Earth stays quite essential in my life. I believe that we are able to share our planet with all beings wisely, and enjoy it, therefore I study environmental protection.
I'm also a vegetarian - but the most important for me is sensible consumption, believing that we have real influence on the world we create.

However, I can't stop on one or two faculties, even biology is really fascinating. I'm not able to cut myself off the people, simply because I love and so much need them!
I am interested in the Arts and humane studies as well, so thanks to my inter-faculty studies and friends, I can explore anthropology, psychology, philosophy and cultural studies.

I constantly reconcile soul of hippie, missing the wilderness, nature or quiet countryside with exciting life of urban activist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live exactly in the center of Warsaw all the days of my life and I think I can became a helpful guide through the city, that I really love.
I can try to show you different aspects of our non-obvious and bustling capital, conducting to both 'must-see' places, and these more hidden, that in fact creates unique local colour.
Can't omit visiting great variety of cafes and cultural places - I'm a little freak about cup of coffee in such places!
(I have to admit, that sometimes I'm acting as a guide even among my friends!;)

From almost year I spend quite a bit of my time with my boyfriend Marcin (https://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=5H9HDY4CP) We also started to travel together every time it's possible, so most likely I'll be looking for couch for two :)

Interests

Exploring the world by many ways:
cycling (I can't imagine my life without my lovely bicycle!), trekking, walking insightful through the city, mountain hiking and travelling broad-taken.

Food, in general - cooking, world cuisines, eating (of course!;), growing plants..

Dancing - in practice, but also more theoretically (like modern ballet)

I love all animals, but I'm especially keen on horses and horse riding.

Music, Movies, and Books

O, it's so difficult! I listen to various kinds of music, and it's sometimes impossible to classify, but it could be jazz, rock, alternative, indie, classical music, sung poetry and i really enjoy 'world', ethnic, folk inspirations.
I love almost all kind of literature - from modern European, Polish, Russian and other prose, Iberoamerican magical realism, to poetry and great ancient and modern dramas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Breath-taking galloping on horseback through the beaches and mountain meadows, cycling among locals in small village in China.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing our experiences and knowledge connected with anything seems like absorbing pleasure!
I can cook something surprising (maybe teach how delicious could be vege cuisine?), show you some basic steps of rock and roll, how to discern different specious of plants or birdsongs, how to talk with animals or make some artwork.
