ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Madalena and I am a Portuguese 30 year old aspiring author writing the book she hopes will finally create her a career in the field of Global History. Me and the love of my life, Paulo, have a soon-to-become-a-toddler baby named Sophia, whose existence kind of directs our lives--everything we are and everything we do. We live in São Miguel, Azores, which we consider paradise on earth--specially for tourists looking for nature-related, peace-of-mind fulfillment with a touch of crazy nightlife with the crazy locals (because life is short and because well why not).

The summer is here! Paulo badly needs to practice his English, Sophia's the most sociable baby ever, mummy's totally into cool time spending with people from any and everywhere... We can share a lot of local knowledge about São Miguel, give all the tips, and car share for beach activities in most evenings and round-trips around the island on weekends. We always take our baby along, with the obvious restrictions this creates, but you'll see Sophia's a one-baby-party all by herself well we have the best of times :) We ourselves only do daytime activities, but we can tip you in and etc. on the nightlife :)

Paulo loves to cook, share everything about the Azores and life in general, and live it up like the Forever Young soul he is. I have studied photography for some years now, and since our baby's birth I've improved tremendously from sheer daily practice, so well anyone interested in a photoshoot here we are! (Iphone very fast; proper camera longer). Sophia just laughs and babbles and just can't stand to miss a thing about the world around her, so some baby cheerfulness for everybody! <3!!!
