About Me

PHILOSOPHY
When there's a doubt, there's no doubt.

Profession
I work for a non-profit that helps families of students with disabilities navigate the special education system in nyc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf almost anytime that I travel--even for work. If I have to go to a conference, I will couchsurf instead of staying at the conference hotel. I just always want to experience a place as locally as possible. I can't host right now because I am transitioning from New York City to Texas, but I have in the past and will again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2008 or 2009: I stayed with a communal group in Savannah, GA USA. They were wonderful, hospitable people whose love and faith directed them to love and welcome us as couch surfers.

2014: I had 2 different hosts in Ireland. I also hosted when I was living in Nashville, TN

2015: I hosted in NYC.

2016: I traveled across India for 3.5 months and spent only 10 of those days in airbnbs/hostels. The rest was all couchsurfing.

2018: Monterery, CA (while attending a professional conference).

Then, COVID.

Now game to get back out there and host as well!
