About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience the world and all it has to offer.

ABOUT ME

I am a responsible professional student. Easygoing and expansive of interest, I will try anything once; maybe twice- never know if the first time was a fluke. I am the type to drop everything for someone in need, which has gotten me into some tough places now and again, but it is still worth it. Respectful and uninhibited, I say what I want unless it seems inappropriate.

PHILOSOPHY

Create all of the happiness, justice, love and warm fuzzy feelings that I can. See all that I can and know everything there is to know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted, I've surfed, and I plan to do more of both. I am living in tiny flats during my studies in Europe, so I can't host right now.

Many of the places I have surfed have made the city they were in; Karen in Roswell, Chris in Flaggstaff, Pablo in Cadiz, and more.

Interests

Food, I love food. And wine, food and wine. Cooking, brewing and creating. Growing, planting, and watching.
Reading novels, reference, expanding my horizons. Dancing - ballroom, especially.
Video games and good movies, things that make me think.
Writing, RP, DM'ing, ST'ing.
Biochemistry and alternative agriculture.
Crafting, sewing and running.
And traveling. My favourite and most expensive pastime is traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

IT, Alt-rock, piano, medieval music.
Historical Fiction, fantasy, and encyclopedias. Political sci-fi, grungy urban horror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing to the top of a section of the Great Wall of China, looking over it and seeing the ages pass before me. Walking underneath an archway into the Valley of the Kings and feeling the reverence as a wall as if I was stepping through centuries of perceived thresholds.

Sunrise over the Grand Canyon.

Standing up on the surfboard for the first time in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.

Swam with turtles, manta rays, and volcanos. Danced on a lava field. Stargazed on top of Mauna Kea. Climbed waterfalls, mountains, and thousands of foot-etched steps. Jumped off planes, cliffs, and taken chances. Cried at a wedding during a sunshower, and caught the bouquet.

Christmas in Lisbon, New Years on another planet. Standing stones in Spain and Portugal. Monkeys on the Gibraltar Mountain. Biking across France while sleeping in castles, on buses, and not at all. Fallen in love even though I knew it was doomed.

Lived. I've Lived. And Loved.
